If you are interested in eco-smart home technology you would have more than likely come across myenergi before. The Lincolnshire-based company is well known for producing the world’s first solar EV charger the Zappi, and are one of the UK’s top 10 fastest growing companies thanks to their eco-smart product range which also includes the eddi and harvi. Nevertheless, their much anticipated new product, the myenergi libbi, has finally launched and we have all the answers to your burning questions!
What is the myenergi Libbi?

The myenergi libbi is the new home energy battery system from myenergi. The myenergi libbi battery is a modular battery system which integrates with the entire myenergi product range. Perfect if you are an existing myenergi customer. The batteries comes in 5kWh intervals, scalable up to a total of 20kWh of storage, which can be installed with either a 3.68kW or 5kW inverter.
The myenergi battery supports both charging from the grid, which can be optimised through time-of-use and agile tariffs and also charging through renewable energy resources such as solar panels.
If installed alongside solar panels and myenergi’s existing products, the eddi, harvi and Zappi EV charger, myenergi can offer the perfect home solar energy system for energy independence. With the myenergi battery also capable of providing power during a blackout.

What's Different about the myenergi libbi battery?
myenergi believe that they have launched a competitive alternative to the Tesla Powerwall, and believe the key to the myenergi batteries’ success will be the fact you can manage, maximise and monitor your home’s energy all in one place: the myenergi app. The app seamlessly connects to all of your myenergi devices, and manages your home energy ecosystem on the go. With the aims of reducing your energy cost and reliance on the grid.
Unlike other solar batteries, the myenergi battery allows customers to prioritise loads through the myenergi app, making it easy to charge your EV or solar battery directly from your battery, solar panels or even the grid, and to prevent unwanted draining.

How much will the myenergi battery cost?
The myenergi website states that the libbi battery will cost from £4595+vat (excluding installation). The battery will also come with a standard 10 year warranty.
Is the myenergi libbi battery available yet?
The myenergi home battery is set to be released in January, however the industry as a whole has been experiencing manufacturing delays. For now, the Deege Solar team have signed up for installer training and are hoping to be able to offer the new myenergi battery for installations in the new year. As current myenergi approved installers for their other eco devices, our team look forward to bringing the myenergi libbi into hundreds of households across the UK!
