Frequently Asked Questions About Dyness Batteries
Where are Dyness Batteries Manufactured?
Dyness batteries are manufactured in China, with production facilities located in Taizhou and Suzhou, where the company is also headquartered. Recognised by Energy Business Review as one of the Top 5 Battery Manufacturing Solution Companies in China, Dyness has established a strong global presence with 13 branches worldwide, including locations in China, Singapore, South Africa, the USA, Australia, Brazil, the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. The company also operates two product centres and two research and development centres, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and quality.
What Inverters work with Dyness batteries?
Dyness batteries are compatible with a wide range of popular solar inverter brands, the specific compatibility depends on the Dyness battery model and whether it is a low-voltage (LV) or high-voltage (HV) battery system.
Low Voltage Dyness Batteries such as the B4850 and Powerbox Pro battery are compatible with leading inverter brands including: GoodWe, Growatt, Solis, SMA, Deye, Victron Energy and Luxpower to name a few.
High-voltage Dyness batteries, such as the Tower Pro and STACK100 series, are designed for use with high-voltage inverters from brands like Kostal, GoodWe, Solis, Deye, SAJ, and Growatt.
Can you Mix Dyness Batteries?
No, it is not recommended to mix Dyness batteries with other brands or different types and models, as well as old and new together. Doing so can cause safety issues, system damage, and void warranty due to differences in voltage, capacity, and battery management systems (BMS).
However, homeowners and businesses can safely expand their energy storage by adding additional batteries of the same model to their existing Dyness system.
What is the Dyness Batteries' Warranty?
All Dyness Batteries come with a standard 7-year product warranty. Customers who register their Dyness Battery installation on the official Dyness website (https://www.dyness.com/sign) and receive official approval will benefit from an extended 10 year warranty period. Under this warranty, Dyness guarantees that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for up to ten years.
The warranty covers usage equivalent to one full charge and discharge cycle per day and warrants that the batteries will retain at least 70% of their nominal energy capacity over the 10-year period or a Minimum Energy Throughput calculated from the warranty start date, whichever occurs first.
Are Dyness Batteries Good?
Dyness batteries are high-performing and highly scalable. Compatible with a wide range of inverters, they offer excellent project versatility, putting customer flexibility and safety at the core of their design. Backed by a competitive warranty and a high cycle life, it’s no wonder Dyness batteries have received multiple honours, including the 2024 iF Design Award, making them a highly popular choice for battery storage.
